Abstract

The purpose of this article is to approach to the educational policies that support the proposal of the Ministry of Education of the Basque Government to promote the development of an inclusive school. Our focus is on the path of these policies over the past ten years and on investigating text analysis, where there is a lack of connection with the most of these initiatives and case studies, in relation to the possibilities and limitations of ICTs in the attention to diversity. For this, we will analyze the plans and programs for the attention to the diversity of the Ministry of Education of the Basque Government identifying the role that is designated to Information and Communication Technologies in them; and we will analyze two case studies in the Basque Country, where ICTs have been proved valuable, in working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
