Abstract

We present theoretical predictions for the angular distribution of the ejected electrons in two-photon double-ionization of H2 by an xuv laser pulse. The results were obtained by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation in prolate spheroidal coordinates. We find a strong dependence of the emission pattern on the relative orientation of the laser polarization vector and the molecular axis. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
