Abstract

This research was conducted a brief study of the advance directives instrument that can ensure the wishes of terminally ill patients to die with dignity. To that end, we treated the concept and origin of the advance directives, the situations in which this document may be used, as well as analysis project of the bill n.524/2009, which proposes to legalize advance directives.
