Abstract

Cancer is one of the major health problems in the world and in our country that threaten the health and diseases leading to death, many countries in the world and is second only to cardiovascular disease in Turkey. Cancer patients’ symptom burden the patient’s age, gender, primary cancer field, the phase in the treatment, also varies according to the presence of a chronic disease. Relief of the symptoms of the patient’s physical and psychological symptom management in cancer patients is important. Nurses providing care to the patient with cancer patients to help control the symptoms of the patient and the caregiver should provide the necessary care and education.
