Abstract

The tunneling nanotube radio is a miniaturized radio based on a single nanotube. The tunneling nanotube radio is electrically tunable in the entire FM or AM band and is biased with batteries. These features of the tunneling nanotube radio are in contrast with previous nanoradio based on field emission, which is biased at a few hundred volts and not tunable in the entire frequency band allocated for radio stations. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.
