Abstract

Human activities have contributed to various environmental problems. Among other things, the impact of human activities on the environment is global warming. Global warming is an effect of air pollution. Global warming cannot be seen clearly by humans, because it lasts for a long time and its effects are felt widely. Environmental issues do not recognize geographic boundaries or national boundaries. One of the global environmental problems is global warming. Global warming causes climate change. This research is to describe the role of women in climate change disaster mitigation efforts, using library research methods. The research results show that the global challenge in facing climate change disasters is very serious, so the importance of synergy between all components of world society, including the role of women. The role of women in climate change disaster mitigation efforts is very important and it is hoped that they can take real and concrete steps in everyday life. To reduce the impact of climate change disasters and protect the earth for future generations. Mitigation is important to carry out collectively to face the challenges of climate change. Women can carry out mitigation efforts according to women's abilities, as follows: 1. Use of Renewable Energy. 2. Energy Savings. 3. Forest conservation and 4. Reforestation. 5. Sustainable Agriculture. 6. Increased Environmental Knowledge.
