Abstract

In this paper we introduce a relatively new method, based on Adomian decom- position method (ADM), for solving nonlinear partial differential equations (NPDE). This method provides the solution as an infinite series in which each term can be easily determined. We shall consider some particular examples to discuss the accuracy and convergence of the method. The results obtained by this way have been compared with the exact solution to show the efficiency of the method.   Neste artigo introduzimos um método relativamente novo, baseado no método Adomian decom- position (ADM), para resolver equações diferenciais parciais não lineares (NPDE). Este método fornece a solução como uma série infinita na qual cada termo pode ser facilmente determinado. Vamos considerar alguns exemplos particulares para discutir a precisão e convergência do método.
