Abstract

Aging results in a decrease in reserves of several organ systems, as does HIV. The systems reviewed in this book are the immune, central nervous, cardiovascular, endocrine, renal, and pulmonary systems. The book also reviews oncology, which has an overarching association with aging and with HIV. The assembled authors have addressed these issues in clinical terms.
