A caminho de uma nova ética das relações nas organizações

Abstract

O tema da ética vem sendo resgatado da filosofia pela freqüência com que jovens executivos manifestam atitudes egoístas, em detrimento do interesse pelos outros. Com esta atitude egocêntrica, acaba por desaparecer o interesse pela própria instituição. Por sua vez, as organizações também têm falhado em atender o interesse dos indivíduos. O autor expressa sua inquietação face a um mundo orientado por valores econômicos e propõe uma renovação da ética das relações nas organizações, fundamentada sobre o desenvolvimento do que ele denomina ética individual articuladamente com a ética coletiva.The subject maiter on ethics has been recovered from philosophy due to the frequency that young executives show egotistic altitudes in detriment to concern towards others. This egocentric altitude leads to the vanishment of interest for the institution itself. On the other hand, the organizations have also failed in responding to the interests of the individuais. The author expresses his uneasiness towards a world oriented to economic values and proposes a renewal of ethics in relations inside the organizations, based upon the development of what he calls individual ethics articulated to collective ethics.
