Abstract

Nurses are the largest potential group of RME users in healthcare facilities, therefore it is very important to understand nurses' interaction with RME and its subsequent impact on nurses' activities and routines. Nurses being the largest part of the health workforce, nurses' attitudes towards computer use are likely to have a major impact on the process of implementing information technology systems in health services. This type of research is observational analytic with a quantitative approach. The study population was inpatient nurses who served at Klungkung Regency Hospital with a total of 189 nurses. The sample in this study amounted to 120 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires filled in by nurses. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there were 4 factors that influenced nurses' attitudes in switching conventional medical records to electronic medical records (RME), namely perceived usefulness (p-v=0.000), perceived convenience (p-v=0.000), social influence (p-v=0.000). And facilitating conditions (p-value=0.000). Age, gender, employment status, and nurse education do not moderate the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, social influence and facilitating conditions on attitudes towards using RME.
