Abstract

The development of high performance sound Insulation device is helpful for noise control of UHVAC substation. Therefore the noise characteristics of UHV shunt reactors were analyzed, and a high-performance sound insulation device was developed through structure design, acoustic design and seal design. The device adopts a multilayer sound absorption composite structure, which remarkably improves the acoustic performance. Its acoustic property was verified by tests. The results show that the insertion loss is 31.8 dB, which can effectively suppress the low-frequency noise. The results of multi physical coupling simulation also show that the insertion loss of the high-performance sound insulation device can reach 32.1 dB, and further verify that the sound insulation device achieves the expected design goal. The high-performance sound insulation device provides powerful equipment support for the noise control of UHV AC substation.
