Abstract

A mix network achieving strong correctness and privacy is proposed. The degree of correctness and privacy are precisely stated and a formal proof of correctness is given. A grouping function is employed to achieve stronger correctness and higher efficiency without compromising strong privacy. In order to further improve the efficiency of the mix network a new batch verification technique, suitable for verifying multiple proofs of knowledge, is presented together with a formal proof of soundness. © International Association for Cryptologic Research 2004.
