Abstract

An experiment was carried out to determine the relationship between age and pain threshold in a group of Ss aged 5 to 18 years. The relationship was found to be significant, and it is suggested that perception of pain is a declining function from an early age throughout life. © 1969, Psychonomic Journals, Inc..
