This research focuses on the determination of parameter for non-linear elastoplastic soil model with the back prediction on soil parameter. The back prediction on soil parameter was conducted by determining the preliminary parameter first with standard constitutive equation and back prediction through curve fitting. The back prediction was conducted with the aid of Plaxis 2D, by matching the result of soil test on Plaxis 2D. The used soil constitutive models were Mohr Coulomb, Hardening Soil, and Soft Soil. These three soil models showed good result of back prediction. However, Hardening Soil showed a stress-strain curve that was closer to the result in the laboratory. Two case studies in this research were case study of deep excavation.
