Abstract

Who can? Glycan! Heterogeneous glycan microarrays were prepared for the study of antibody binding specificity and affinity. It was found that heterogeneous glycans provide better binding affinity compared to their individual components (see picture), thereby suggesting a new strategy for carbohydrate-based vaccine design. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
