Abstract

This research discusses assertive speech acts focusing on the actions used by students in microteaching practice. The aim of this study is to describe the forms of assertive variations, strategies for delivering assertive speech acts, and the functions of using assertive speech acts based on pragmatic theory. This research uses a narrative method with a pragmatic approach. The data sources were obtained from the speech acts of students in microteaching practices. Data collection techniques include documentation, observation, note-taking, and recording. Data analysis techniques use referential matching methods and pragmatic matching methods. The results show that the assertive speech acts found include inviting, suggesting, boasting, informing, mentioning, explaining, complaining, and reporting. Strategies for delivering assertive speech acts involve direct speech acts, indirect speech acts, literal, and non-literal acts.     Penelitian ini membahas tindak tutur asertif dengan fokus pada tindakan yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam praktik mikroteaching. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk ragam asertif, strategi penyemaian dalam bertindak tutur asertif serta fungsi penggunaan tindak tutur asertif berdasarkan teori pragmatik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode naratif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Sumber data diperoleh dari tindak tutur mahasiswa dalam praktik microteaching. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik dokumentasi, simak, catat dan rekam. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode padan referensial dan padan pragmatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur asertif yang ditemukan meliputi mengajak, menyarankan, membanggakan, memberitahukan, menyebutkan, menjelaskan, mengeluh dan melaporkan.  Strategi penyampaian tindak tutur asertif melibatkan tindak tutur langsung, tindak tutur tidak langsung, literal dan tidak literal.
