Abstract

There have been many suggestive evidences on the close correlation between EBV infection and the development of NPC, though the mode of this lymphotropic EBV infection how to enter into the epithelial cells of the nasopharynx and transform the cells to NPC are still unknown. In order to clarify an etiological role of EBV in NPC, several approaches in vitro were tried in this respect, and the results are as follows. © 1979, The Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society of Japan, Inc.
