Abstract

"This is the final book in a trilogy by Dr. Bennett and Dr. McLaughlin. It completes the description of their system of orthodontic treatment mechanics, and it is intended to be read with two earlier volumes, published in 1997 and 2003. ... This book brings everything up to date. It describes important recent developments, and at the same time clarifies and updates earlier work, with references to previous texts. There are entirely new chapters on case settling and post-treatment management, which had not been fully explained previously, and new information on bracket design and appliance versatility. Many advances and improvements are explained, backed up with a range of treated cases. This book will be invaluable to orthodontists at all levels who are seeking to provide high quality care. For students, looking for a concise understanding of modern treatment methods, it offers a clear pathway forwards."
