Synthesis of a new class of triazole-linked benzoheterocycles via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition

Abstract

A new series of 1,2,3-triazole derivatives have been synthesized from phthalimides and terminal alkynes in the presence of a catalytic amount of CuI. The present protocol affords 1,2,3-triazoles in moderate to good yields (44-89%). © 2011.
