Abstract

Last year this journal published a panel called “The Ontology of the Rape Joke” (Studies in Gender and Sexuality, vol. 18, no. 4), organized around a performance by Vanessa Place of her piece, “The Ontology of the Rape Joke.” Some of the panelists reconvened in this issue to consider the implications of #metoo. This essay introduces this version of the panel.
