The Board of Directors in timeshare governance: Owner–management relations in timeshare resort operations

Abstract

The homeowners association plays an important part in the effective operation of a timeshare resort. However, the academic literature lacks a discussion of the role and responsibilities of the association as exercised through an elected Board of Directors.
