Abstract

The publication of the reactor antineutrino anomaly (RAA [1]) has revived the search for a sterile neutrino state with Δm2 in the 1 eV2 range. A large experimental program is under development to search for a new oscillation pattern in the disapearance of ν¯e at short distance from reactor cores. After a general presentation of the advantages and challenges of these very short baseline measurements we review the proposed experiments with emphasis on the complementary detection technologies.
