Abstract

A learning model is a plan or pattern that can be used to form a curriculum or long-term learning plan. One of them is the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model which is designed to provide opportunities for students to exchange ideas and consider answers with the syntax of playing and discussing. This study aims to determine how the results of students' learning motivation in participating in science learning using the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model. The research method used is literature study. The form of motivation that can be done in learning activities is to foster healthy competition in learning. The NHT learning model is a learning model that can attract students' interest in learning. Where this model involves more students in studying the material that includes a lesson and checks students' understanding of the content of the material. Learning motivation can be interpreted as a driving force to carry out certain learning activities that foster enthusiasm in learning. Indicators of motivation are attention, interest, responsibility, response, and pleasure in learning.
