Abstract

The thermodynamic properties of the silver halides, AgCl, AgBr, and AgI, are extremely important quantities in determining the properties of many other substances. The enthalpies of precipitation of silver halides and the enthalpies of solution of AgNiO//3, KCl, and KBr in H//2O were measured in an adiabatic solution calorimeter. Results are reported.
