Abstract

The comments by Kusala Rajendran [2001] (KR) are welcome and mainly relate to the choice of the initial velocity model used in tomographic inversion, the resolution capabilities of the network and events used in determining the three dimensional velocity structure and delineation of seismically active faults using local earthquakes. In the text below we will refer Srinagesh et al. [2000] as SN, Rai et al. [1999] as SR and Mandal et al. [1998] as PM. The response to the comments are presented below.
