Abstract
The chemistry of cyclic benzopolychalcogenides, such as benzopentathiepins, benzotetrathiins, and benzotrithioles and related compounds, has been widely studied to establish the synthetic methods and the stabilization with substituents on the benzene ring and to reveal the chemical properties of the polychalcogenide ring. © 1999 IUPAC.
