Respon Pemerintah pada Aksi Damai 411 dan 212 : Analisis Isi Harian Kompas Edisi November 2016 – Desember 2016

Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of social movement conducted by Muslims on 4 November 2016 and 2 December 2016 in Indonesia. The social movement occurred because of the protest form of the Muslims against the process of blasphemy of one of the regional leaders. The existence of a social movement of nuances of protest made the government indirectly into the spotlight and triggered a crisis, especially in terms of reputation because the Government and its staff are responsible for the ongoing legal case process. This research uses content analysis method with descriptive quantitative type. The data collected are news about the social movement 411 and 212 in Kompas Daily Newspaper Edition November to December 2016. The results show the government has a tendency to reduce the negative impact of the phenomenon of social movement. The news about the reduction of the impact of the crisis by the government is more dominant.
