Abstract
The influence of certain coating parameters of HVOF (High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel) spraying on the microstructure and properties of Cr3C2-NiCr coating and the mechanism of microstructure formation of the coating is investigated. The results indicate that the characteristics of the high-temperature and high-velocity flame jet enable the acquisition of coatings with high hardness (>910 HV0.3), low porosity (<0.8%), high density (>99.2%) and uniform microstructure distribution. The neutral salt spray test demonstrates that the coating has good corrosion resistance properties.
