Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Destinasi Wisata di Kabupaten Sukabumi Berbasis Web

Abstract

Sukabumi Regency, West Java, is known for having various tourist destinations that are very famous and are the main choice for tourists. Natural beauty is the main focus of this tourist destination, starting from white sand beaches, stunning waterfalls, charming hills, natural caves that hold history, and much more. The uniqueness of each of these tourist destinations will make tourists feel stunned and want to come back again. However, there are limitations in the availability of information about tourist attractions in Sukabumi Regency which makes it inadequate for tourists. This situation can make tourists face difficulties in obtaining information about tourist sites they want to visit while in Sukabumi Regency. A type of Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping Tourist Attractions should be established by the local government to help visitors learn about resorts in Sukabumi. This GIS provides information such as location, facilities, and contact information of available tourist attractions. In addition, this GIS also provides an interactive map feature that allows tourists to find the location of tourist attractions easily. This system is made web-based using JavaScript as the programming language, React JS as a framework and Leaflet Js to display interactive maps. With the development of a geographic information system, it is hoped that users can easily find tourist attractions more accurately and obtain more accurate information as well.
