STEM Eğitim Yaklaşımında Dinamik Matematik Programlarının (Geogebra) Kullanımına Yönelik Öğrenci Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada üstün ve özel yetenekli öğrencilerin STEM eğitim yaklaşımı çerçevesinde kullandıkları GeoGebra yazılımına yönelik görüşlerinin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunun belirlemesinde, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır.  2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Ankara İlinde bir Bilim ve Sanat Merkezinde (BİLSEM) 9. sınıf seviyesinde 15 (9 erkek, 6 kız) üstün ve özel yetenekli öğrenci araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi ile toplanan araştırma verilerinin değerlendirilmesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. İçerik analiz yöntemi doğrultusunda görüşme verileri kodlanarak temalar oluşturulmuştur. İçerik analizi sonrası araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin STEM eğitim yaklaşımına ve GeoGebra yazılımına yönelik yönelik olumlu yönde görüşlere sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir.In this research, it is aimed to reveal the views of GeoGebra software that the students with superior and special ability use within the framework of STEM education approach. In this survey, case study which is one of the qualitative research methods was used. When deciding on the study group of the research, purpose sampling method was used which is one of the criteria sampling methods? In the academic year 2017-2018, 15 (9 males, 6 females) students at the 9th grade level formed the outstanding and special talented student study group. In the evaluation of the research data collected by semi-structured interview method, content analysis was used. In the direction of content analysis method, the themes were formed by using interview data. As a result of the research after content analysis, it was determined that students have positive views on STEM education approach and GeoGebra software.
