Abstract

In global climate warming, energy shortage, pollution increasinglyserious international background, the development of marked by lowenergy consumption, low emissions of low-carbon economy and sustainabledevelopment are becoming the common choice of economic developmentaround the world. Low carbon economy is a new choice of China faces, newopportunities. New challenges are to improve the ecological environmentand promote the development of the change of the pattern of economicdevelopment pattern. Power industry is as the most energy consumption.CO2 emissions as one of the largest sector of the future developmentpath is correct or not directly affects the effect and the success orfailure of the low carbon economy in our country. Power industry energyconservation and emissions reduction under low carbon economy theoryresearch of the path is feasible and provides reference to the planningpower industry in our country and draw lessons from. It has goodtheoretical value and practical significance.
