Abstract
Improvements in imaging technology and the expanding use of imaging have led to a rapid increase in the discovery of incidental renal lesions. These can present both the radiologist and the referring clinician with diagnostic dilemmas. This article addresses the most frequently encountered lesions and provides a framework for the diagnostic and management pathways for both solid and cystic lesions. © 2009 International Cancer Imaging Society.
