Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes: Domínio da produção científica e percursos das agendas de pesquisa

Abstract

RESUMO Estudos apontam que o debate científico em torno da aplicação de princípios inteligentes a destinos turísticos vem se intensificando, entretanto, seus domínios de interesse para o avanço científico do tema ainda estão em construção. Este estudo tem por objetivo mapear a estrutura teórica e de domínio do campo de destinos turísticos inteligentes [DTI] para refletir acerca das agendas de pesquisa vigentes e de possíveis lacunas teórico-metodológicas. Realizou-se revisão sistemática de 28 artigos de periódicos indexados na Web of Science, com suporte da bibliometria. Os principais resultados indicaram que a rede dos trabalhos mais citados se agrupa em cinco clusters; detectam-se cinco agendas mais frequentes e observa-se a centralidade do tema no continente europeu em função da origem dos autores e dos periódicos. Todavia, o tema sustentabilidade é tangenciado nos estudos, sugerindo uma lacuna nas pesquisas; também são negligenciadas conceituações para apoiar o desenvolvimento do turismo inteligente na prática. ABSTRACT Studies indicate that the scientific debate around smart principles' application to tourist destinations has been intensifying. However, its domains of interest for the scientific advancement of the subject are still under construction. This research aims to map the theoretical and domain structure of the Smart Tourism Destinations [STDs] field to reflect on the current research agendas and possible theoretical-methodological gaps. A systematic review was conducted on 28 scientific paper samples indexed in the Web of Science, with bibliometry support. The main results pointed out that the network of the most cited studies is grouped into five clusters; five most frequent agendas are detected; and the centrality of the theme on the European continent is observed according to the authors and scientific journals' origins. Yet, the topic of sustainability is tangential in the studies, suggesting a gap in the researches; and conceptualizations to support smart tourism development in practice are also neglected.
