A comparison of tools for teaching and learning data analytics

Abstract

Data analytics techniques are useful in understanding data, discovering patterns and building predictive models. Several curricula related to data analytics have been developed in worldwide Universities. As a practical curriculum, it is important to teach necessary tools or software for students to better learn data analytics. However, there could be several potential choices on the market. In this paper, we compare diferent tools for teaching and learning data analytics and discuss our experience in the IT educations.
