Abstract

Pangkalan Jambi Village is a village that has experienced high abrasion . At present the coastline in the village of Pangkalan Jambi has suffered a setback 115 meters. In an effort to prevent abrasion, CSR PT Pertamnina RU II Sungai Pakning along with the Harapan Bersama group has tried several ways to overcome abrasion, including hybrid engineering, hybrid engineering with modifications and Triangle Mangrove Barier which aims to capture sediments and protect mangroves that are planted. This study aims to determine the impact of the installation of the three tools on abrasion that occurred in the coastal area of Pangkalan Jambi Village. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the beach damage that occurred in Pangkalan Jambi Village has stopped due to sedimentation around the equipment installed and increased the success of peopleĀ  in planting mangroves. Of the three tools installed, only two tools can be used, namely hybrid engineering with modifications and triangle mangrove barrier.
