Abstract
In order to develop mine plans, correct sizing of drilling, loading and haulage equipment capacity is required. This study approaches haulage productivity sizing for short-term planning, by using information from the dispatch system database and average haulage distance from short-term plan, based on mine development and material allocation. So as to get to a more accurate haulage productivity indicator regarding the results actually attained, latest historical data provided by equipment dispatch and control system have been taken into account. Proposed work has been applied to the same operation where data have been obtained from, with satisfactory results being achieved. This has allowed for a more detailed monitoring of short-term plan execution, with application for long-term planning also being established. Data used herein are from an operating mine site (Cu-Au) located in the Northern Brazilian region. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
