Six species, namely A. lamellatus from Somalia, West and East Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, A. malaccensis from West Malaysia, A. iliffei from New Caledonia, A. hatoaiianus from the Hawaiian Islands, A. cong'obator from New Caledonia, and A. bilioni from Indonesia, are described as new Diagnostic characters of A. quadricornis Vandel 1970, A. mirabilis Ferrara 1974 and A. indicus Ferrara and Taiti 1983 are illustrated. A. litoralis Budde-Lund 1885 is recorded from West Malaysia, Hong Kong, North Korea and the Hawaiian Islands. A map and comments on the distribution of all the species of Armadilloniscus are included, together with a cladistic analysis of the probable phylogenetic relationships between the species. © 1989 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
