Abstract

Objective: Evaluate the injury in organs caused by acute and single oral administration in six hours from the toxic Amitraz®, a metabolite 2,4-Dimethylaniline and solvent xylene in experimental rats biomodel. Methods: We used 20 rats. Healthy adult males of the Wistar rats; with body weight average 155-289 grams and 7-10 weeks of life. Experimental objects were divided into four groups of experimentation of 5 rats each with administration by gavaje of 2,4-Dimethylaniline (Group I), Amitraz® (Group II), xylene® (Group III) and solution of phosphate buffer (Group IV). The four groups of rats were anesthetize with Imalgen®1000/Xylasine® in a 10:1 relation intraperitoneal. In the biomodel was analyzed the histopathology of organs such as, lung, kidney, spleen, brain, liver and stomach. Results: Through analysis the following results were found: In the study group I, II and III was found pulmonary edema, hemorrhage glomerular inflammation and gastritis in comparison to the control group (solution of phosphate buffer) these results are observed in only a few hours once the substance enter the body. Conclusions: The use of the animal biomodel allowed to determine the exacerbated pathology of the toxic Amitraz with lesion produced in white body evaluated.
