ANALYSIS OF HELICOIDAL GIRDERS

Abstract

Purpose of study is to present analytical method of analysis, and to provide designer with set of design charts that make it possible to determine directly redundants of fixed-ended helicoidal girder of any given symmetrical cross section, slope and curvature; charts are limited to case of uniformly distributed load and cover multitude of cases that include range of geometrical configurations.
