Abstract

This paper shows a contextualized didactic proposal based on the development of fuels for the teaching of chemistry in high school students. • The main objective of this proposal is to contextualize the curricular contents about the topic of carbon and hydrocarbons, taking as starting point the progression of certain context such as the development of fuels, 3 types of sessions are proposed: • initial or motivational, in which a problem situation of daily life is argued, conceptual, using reading and ICTs • concepts are introduced in a context of the fuels' development • final session, considering the possibility of argumentation and appropriation of a scientific literacy in environmental and transdisciplinary issues, this was done using the Teams platform in remote education and face-to-face classes in the return to school.
