Abstract
A parapharyngeal abscess (PPA) was diagnosed and aspirated under local anesthesia using transoral ultrasound by an ENT surgeon. This case demonstrates that transoral ultrasound is a valuable point-of-care tool for both diagnosing PPA and enabling minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided drainage.
