Abstract

Vegetables and fruits play an important role in student’s healthy development. This study has role in student’s healthy development. This study has two objectives which are i) to determine the preference of vegetables and fruitsand ii) to wo objectives which are i) to determine the preference of vegetables and fruitsand ii) to determine the awareness on healthy food innovation using fruits and vegetables among determine the awareness on healthy food innovation using fruits and vegetables among university students. 160 respondents were involved in this study and they were randomly espondents were involved in this study and they were randomly selected from various faculties selected from various faculties in Universiti Teknologi MARA, Dungun, Terengganu, Malaysia. The results show that 83.8% (n=134) of respondents has chosen fruits as their Malaysia. The results show that 83.8% (n=134) of respondents has chosen fruits as their favourite while only 16.3% (n=26) reported for vegetables. In conclusion, 3% (n=26) reported for vegetables.
