Abstract
The rearrangement under oxidative conditions of 3-(benzyloxy)-tetrahydro-2, 6,6-trimethyl-2H-pyran-2-carbaldehydes to afford a chiral protected tetrahydrofuran lactol is described. © 2006 by MDPI.
