Abstract

Many questions in leaf physiology, from mechanisms of water transport and stomatal responses to interpretation of gas exchange measurements, hinge on distributions of water potential among compartments in the leaf. A new tool, AquaDust, offers the possibility of quantifying those distributions at unprecedentedly small scales of organization
