A light‐ and electroactive polymer (LEAP) actuator with a double‐layered structure is developed by Moon Jeong Park and co‐workers in article number 1706547, which is capable of locking its motion in the absence of a power supply. The LEAP actuator can hold an object for a few tens of minutes while consuming only a few milliwatthours of energy, which open news a new chapter in future robot technologies.
