Abstract
The article discusses the history of the Business Reference & Services Section (BRASS) of the organization Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). Comments by several members of BRASS are presented, including the librarians Gerald Gill, Mark Leggett and Judy Nixon. The role of BRASS in the careers of members as librarians is addressed.
