An Efficient and practical synthesis of benzoxazoles from acyl chlorides and 2-aminophenols catalyzed by Lewis acid in(OTf)3 under solvent-free reaction conditions

Abstract

Benzoxazole derivatives have been prepared through the reaction of substituted 2-aminophenols and acyl chlorides in the presence of catalytic amount of In(OTf)3 under solvent-free reaction conditions in good to excellent yields.
