Abstract

The Front Cover shows the elegance of dual catalytic small molecule functionalization. The beauty of the reviewed reactions is that they are promoted by photons. This common attribute is embodied by an iridescent ray of light flowing through a set of gears to propel the system in motion. One gear signifies the photosensitizer component. The other gear represents a cobaloxime catalyst, notorious for hydrogen evolution. The sophisticated tandem of these catalysts allows for a variety of dehydrogenation reactions ultimately liberating hydrogen gas as the byproduct of the meshing gears. More information can be found in the Minireview by J. A. Tunge et al.
