Application and research of magnets rapid installation and alignment method in HLSII upgrade project

Abstract

About 120 magnets would be installed and aligned in the HLSII upgrade project. In order to make sure the project to be completed smoothly, according to the structure characteristics of HLSII, the primary control network is measured by several different instruments and softwares. The magnets are installed and aligned in the coordinate of themselves, it benefits to the efficiency and accuracy of magnets installation and alignment. After three times installation and alignment, all magnets are properly positioned, and the accuracy meets the requirement.
