Abstract

Gunungsari Village is one of the villages in Cikatomas District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Sheep are one of the main livestock kept by residents because of the availability of sufficient natural resources and they are considered easy and cheap to raise. However, most farmers still use traditional methods and have not implemented technological innovations in maintenance activities. Farmers still use natural feed that is not processed beforehand and has not been treated with waste, which if not controlled can cause environmental pollution. The Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) was launched to address this problem. The activities carried out are program socialization, good sheep farming equipment, and equipment that replaces sheep feed and converts sheep manure into fertilizer, for example, healthy sheep pens to separate manure and urine and support the application of organic farming technology. innovation for sheep breeders to support resilience. As a result of implementing the program, there has been a change in people's knowledge about good sheep raising and the conversion of sheep manure into fertilizer.
